A secret 1970's drinking and social club led by Alice Cooper inspired the powerhouse supergroup known as the Hollywood Vampires, with Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen. Directed by Daniel E. Catullo III, Unleashed Spirits: The Rise of the Hollywood Vampires is an electrifying journey through more than five decades of rock-and-roll history, friendship, excess, loss, and ultimately, rebirth. The story begins inside the legendary Rainbow Bar & Grill on the Sunset Strip, where Cooper presided over a notoriously exclusive club whose revolving cast included John Lennon, Keith Moon and Ringo Starr. Decades later, Cooper resurrected the Hollywood Vampires name - but this time the gathering would happen onstage. What began as a way to honor fallen friends became a genuine rock supergroup that would play to more than 100,000 people at Rock in Rio, London's Wembley Arena and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Through rare archival material, intimate interviews, candid behind-the-scenes moments and explosive concert footage, Catullo brings audiences inside a world few have ever experienced. What began as a drinking club became a brotherhood. What began as a tribute became a band. And what began as a way of remembering rock-and-roll's past became an unexpected new chapter in its history.
